When you need to use a Nevada document in another country — a power of attorney for family overseas, a birth or marriage certificate for dual citizenship, a diploma for a job abroad — a notary stamp usually isn't enough. The receiving country wants an apostille. Signature on Demand helps Las Vegas residents get their documents authenticated and apostille-ready, without the runaround.

As a Nevada mobile notary and Licensed Document Preparer, we handle the notarization your documents need first, then guide the apostille request through the Nevada Secretary of State — so your paperwork is accepted the first time and your deadline is met.

What an Apostille Actually Is — and When You Need One

An apostille is a one-page certificate the Nevada Secretary of State attaches to a Nevada-origin document. It confirms to the receiving country that the notary who signed your document was a commissioned Nevada notary in good standing, or that the agency that issued it — such as the Nevada Office of Vital Records or a Nevada district court — is the legitimate source.

Countries that belong to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention accept an apostille with no further steps. Countries that don't participate require embassy legalization instead — a slower process handled through the destination country's consulate. We'll tell you which path your document needs before you spend a dollar.

Which Documents Need an Apostille

Common documents we help Las Vegas clients authenticate include:

  • Vital records — Nevada birth, marriage, and death certificates, and certified divorce decrees. These already carry an official seal and go straight to the Secretary of State.

  • Powers of attorney and affidavits — personal documents that must be signed before a Nevada notary first.

  • Business documents — board resolutions, agreements, and company records for use abroad.

  • School and diploma records — for work or study overseas.

One important note: Nevada can only apostille Nevada-origin documents. If your document was issued in another state, that state's Secretary of State handles it — and an FBI background check must be apostilled by the U.S. Department of State. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll point you in the right direction. For the full walkthrough, see How a Nevada Apostille Works, Step by Step and our Complete 2026 Nevada Apostille Guide.

The Apostille Process — Handled For You

  1. Confirm eligibility — we verify your document is Nevada-origin and apostille-ready.

  2. Notarize if needed — personal documents are signed before our Nevada notary; we can come to you.

  3. Submit to the Secretary of State — we prepare the apostille request naming the document type and destination country.

  4. Delivery — you receive your apostilled document, ready to send abroad.

We Notarize First — and Come to You

Most personal documents need a notarized signature before they can be apostilled. As a mobile notary service, we come to your home, office, or hospital room anywhere in Clark County — North Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, and the Strip — with same-day and after-hours appointments. Out of state with a Nevada document? Our Remote Online Notarization (RON) handles the signing by secure video call.

Need a document apostilled for use overseas? Call or text (725) 243-5188 or book a free 15-minute consult at calendly.com/felicetouchane1. Tell us the document and the destination country, and we'll map out the fastest path.
